奖学金的要求

The requirements to maintain 和 renew all academic scholarships are published below. The requirements for ALL scholarships are printed on the scholarship contract that will be mailed 和 e-mailed to the student once he or she is awarded.

Utah Residential Freshman Academic 奖学金

We are excited to highlight our dynamic new 和 improved Academic Scholarship programs.

雪的大学 is exp和ing in enrollment 和 achieving new heights with programs (i.e., Bachelors in Software Engineering, Bachelors in Music, A.F.A. 视觉艺术，CTE …) while still maintaining personal touches such as smaller class size 和 low student-teacher 比率. 雪的大学 remains the most affordable higher education in Utah, while still keeping student class fees reasonable. 

With this in mind, we have created new academic scholarship opportunities that complement our long st和ing tradition of scholarship awarding for all students pursuing a degree or certification (eligibilty requirement must be met with at least the outlined 平均绩点 ACT/SAT成绩).

 

Nonresident Freshman Academic 奖学金

Nonresident Tuition Waiver (一年奖励)
This scholarship has the same requirements as the Western Undergraduate Exchange(下图),
however; this is a 一年 award 和 the scholarship CANNOT be deferred.

To keep the scholarship from one semester to the next you must:

• Earn a grade point average (平均绩点) of at least 3.00 在4上.0 scale each semester of attendance at 雪的大学.
• The Western Undergraduate Exchange scholarship will automatically renew for a second year provided the award was not lost during the first academic year. WUE奖 是不能延期的.

 

领导奖学金

学生接收 领导奖学金 will be required to perform all duties as given by their advisor. 他们也会 be required to maintain the grade point average 和 credit hour requirements that will be listed on their scholarship contracts. The minimum requirements will be communicated to each student by the scholarship office.

性能为基础 和 部门的奖学金 are awarded to students who are planning to major in a specific area or have proven talent in the chosen field. You may be required to major in the area, 和 you should plan to participate in the department if awarded. 私人奖学金 requirements are set by the individual, foundation, or company making the donation. The requirements to keep, length 和 amount of each private scholarship varies 和 will be detailed on the student's scholarship contract. 多样性的奖学金 requirements are set at a 2.5 grade point average each semester. 学生也必须 maintain a "C" or better grade in each course. 学生也必须 meet monthly with their Multicultural Advisor, be involved with the Multicultural Center as a mentor or mentee, 和 help in the planning 和 implementation of diversity activities. 学生 are also required to be involved in a diversity club that is represented on 雪的大学's 校园. 多样性的奖学金s may be revoked if the student is subject to any 校园 纪律处分.
